Women’s Beach Volleyball has come a long way since its inaugural appearance at the 1996 Olympic Summer Games. In 2010 the NCAA officially recognized beach volleyball as a collegiate sport. In 2014 beach volleyball was approved to become a championship NCAA DI sport, with DII and DIII in 2015, and its first official NCAA championship in 2016. There are currently more than 80 colleges offering beach volleyball programs and the list is growing. Many of these universities are already offering beach volleyball scholarships and the competition for scholarships gets stronger every year.
TVT Junior Beach athletes continually finish among the top in the nation at national events and are being recruiting by top beach programs.
