AVP is the Professional Beach Volleyball Tour in the US.  Texas Volleyball Tour is proud to be an exclusive partner with AVP again in 2019 and proud to be awarding 6 AVP Main Draw bids at events in Texas. AVP MEMBERSHIP

All TVT athletes that play in AVP sanctioned events must be a current AVP Member and a current membership # is required to register. The AVP program is membership-based and offers a variety of benefits to players.  By signing up for an AVP membership, players are eligible to compete in any AVP certified events nationwide.  Membership is valid for 1 year.  Registration for membership can be completed below.

AVPNext

In 2019 Texas Volleyball Tour will host an AVPNext Gold event and U26 event in Texas, each event will award 2 main draw bids.

The official developmental program of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour and serves as the exclusive “qualification circuit” for elite amateur players to earn AVP qualification points, a national ranking and entry into AVP main draws.

In the 2019 season, there will be six AVPNext Gold events and two AVPNext U26 tournaments throughout the nation, giving all beach athletes an opportunity to develop their skills and earn a chance to compete against the best pros in the world at one of the Pro Tour’s marquee SoCal events.  Along with the chance the earn a Main Draw bid, every certified AVPNext event will give athletes AVP points to climb the rankings.

AVPFirst Juniors

AVPFirst is the youth side of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. Texas Volleyball Tour’s Junior Beach Series runs AVPFirst sanctioned events that allow Junior Beach athletes to earn points for a chance to play in the AVPFirst National Championships in California.

AVP AMERICA

New in 2018, the East Coast organization Volley America has combined efforts with the AVP to form AVP America (AVPA), forming the largest grassroot outdoor volleyball organization in the United States. For the first time in beach volleyball history AVPA will offer National Championships for AA, A & B. TVT is expanding to include these divisions in 2019 and will run a series of events across Texas that will give Amateur Athletes at these levels the opportunity to obtain sponsorship & win a trip to compete in the AVP America National Championships!

All TVT adult events (Open, AA, A & B) will be sanctioned by AVP America in 2019. To be eligible to play in these events in 2019 all athletes must have current AVP Memberships. Athletes will earn Texas Beach Volleyball Points (TBV-New Statewide Ranking & Points System) & AVP America Points (system coming soon). TVT tournaments for AA, A & B will be seeded using TBV points and there will be a Texas Championship in September, prior to the National Championships in October. In order to be eligible to compete in the Texas Championships (for AA, A & B) a player must compete in a minimum of 4 TVT events during the current season. See the Tournaments page for more details.
